Motimo is built around a simple principle: your health and fitness data belongs to you. This policy explains exactly what we collect, what we don't collect, and how your data is handled.
When you create an account, we store your name, email address, and a hashed (one-way encrypted) password on our server. We never store your password in plain text. We also store a usage record that tracks your monthly scan and chat counts for rate limiting purposes.
If you upgrade to Pro, payments are processed by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer ID to manage your subscription. We never see or store your card number, CVV, or bank details — those go directly to Stripe.
Your workout plans, fitness goals, body stats, progress logs, and meal scan results are stored on your device. We do not upload, log, or retain your health information on our servers.
We run no advertising pixels, no behavioural analytics, and no third-party tracking scripts. There is nothing to opt out of because there is nothing tracking you.
When you use the AI coach or food scanner, your request is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate a response. Anthropic's privacy policy governs how they handle API requests. Motimo does not log or store the content of these requests on our servers.
Your account credentials are used solely to authenticate you and manage your subscription tier. They are never shared with advertisers or data brokers.

You can request account deletion at any time by contacting us. We will remove your account credentials and usage records from our server within 30 days. Your fitness data stored on your device is not affected — delete it directly from your browser.
If you cancel a Pro subscription, we retain your Stripe customer record for billing and dispute purposes in accordance with applicable law and Stripe's requirements.
You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below.
We do not sell personal information. California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect and to request deletion.
